Ramifications of 'Whiskey Jack Golf Resort' on the Crowsnest...

Attended the Chamber luncheon Wednesday, and listened to Frank Hughes who was the guest speaker for the new Whiskey Jack Golf Resort Development in Sparwood, B.C. that will soon see hundreds of condo's, townhouses, etc., and a world class signature Golf Course designed by Fred Couples. Property values have already risen by 40% in the last year or two, fuelled on in large part because of this development.

The Crowsnest being only 25 minutes from Sparwood will benefit tremendously from this development. As we will when our own two major developments ($1.2b), having done some ground breaking already, get into the building phase, both at the lakes and at the old slack pile locations.

With the above in mind, land and housing prices in the Crowsnest are ‘surprisingly’ cheap, or still a bargain. When you consider what things go for in Canmore, Banff and Jasper, along with the fact that we are the last and only ‘undeveloped’ Rocky Mountain pass community remaining, I’m sure ‘astute’ buyers/sellers/investors can expect and will find property values will definitely increase here, as time goes on.

The forgotten ‘Jewel of the Rockies’ is a good place to be! Call me for your real estate needs! Let me be your Realtor of Choice.
